Ms. Lisa Hamski

My name is Lisa Hamski and I am an Education Specialist at Aviara Oaks Middle School.  I have been teaching for 20+ years and it is by far the most rewarding career one could have. I have enjoyed every moment in the classroom.  The students make each day wonderful and teach me a new lesson daily. 

I attended the University of Dayton (GO FLYERS!) in Dayton, Ohio.  There, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in both Elementary Education and Special Education with a minor in Psychology. I obtained my Master’s degree from UD in School Counseling. Prior to moving to California, I taught special education in Oakwood, Ohio for 5 years.  In Carlsbad, I have taught at both Carlsbad High School and Aviara Oaks Middle School.
