In accordance with state law EVERY student entering 7th grade must provide proof of a Tdap immunization.  Verification of this required immunization must be received prior to your student registering for 7th grade in late August.  You may submit this verification at anytime prior to registration.  If your child has already received the immunization, please provide proof to the health office or you may attach a copy to the course selection paperwork.  Please call the Health office at 760-331-6190 if you have questions or need to confirm if you previously submitted proof of the immunization. If your child is missing additional required  immunizations you will be contacted individually.

Math Tutoring

Math Tutoring for the 2016-2017 school year will take place on Mondays & Tuesdays from 2:10-3:10 in Room 1303




Last Day of School, Thursday June 15th.

8th Grade Promotion 9:00 AM, Thursday June 15th.

First Day of School, Tuesday August 29th.


If you have moved, please turn in your new address into the office (2 utility bills) so that you may receive registration information for 2017/18.


8th Graders don’t forget to turn in your end of the year permission slip.


There will be no Homework Club nor Math Tutoring today Wednesday the 26th.


6th graders - Please turn in your proof of a Tdap immunization to the health office.  You will not be able to complete your registration for 7th grade until we have it!  If you are unsure if you have submitted it please  check in the health office.


On Wednesday, April 26th, athletes and the Athletic Director from Carlsbad High School will be on campus during 8th grade lunch to provide students with information about their athletic programs.  All sports will be represented, so please feel free to ask our athletes any questions you may have!   They will have information for you regarding off season, contact information, and signup information.  For those of you who have chosen CHS, this will be a great opportunity to meet some of athletes already involved in the programs you would like to join!   See you on the 26th!


"Hi Falcons!  We are having a donation drive to the animal shelter!  Please donate used towels, blankets, newspapers, cardboard paper towel rolls and even old pet beds. The last day to donate is this Friday, April 28.  The donation boxes are in the office and ASB room 1424.  Please help pets who need homes!"


Tickets are only $30 and Park hours are extended two extra hours on this day only. Schools will be performing in the Park in various locations, including CHS Drumline, Magnolia Lion Country Singers, Calavera Hills Coyote Productions and Lancer Dancers with more to come!


The money donated back to CEF from LEGOLAND through Celebrate Carlsbad Day ticket sales has totaled more than $700,000 over the years, all toward music—specifically Science Days this year. We know how much the students LOVE Science Days!

Taught by the award-winning CHS Speech and Debate Team-ranked in top 1% in the nation!
