Is your child absent or need to leave early? All students’ absences should be reported to Aviara Oaks Middle School Attendance hotline (331-6170) each day the student is absent. Our automated attendance dial out system calls out each evening to those parents who have not reported their student absent before 3:10 p.m. that day. Due to the high volume of unverified absences, we are no longer able to call a 2nd time to clear absences. If you are NOT getting a courtesy call, please contact our office at 331-6100 to update your phone information. Any absence not verified within 48 hours by a parent will be considered unexcused. Once a student has accumulated three unexcused absences, they will be classified as truant and the District Supervisor of Attendance will be notified of the truancies. 

The quickest way to have your child ready to leave school early is to send them to the front office before school starts with a note stating the time and reason they need to leave. We will then give them a pass to leave class and meet you at the office at the given time. Parents MUST still check their children out by signing them out at the front desk.
