Overdue notices are now being sent by email to your school district Google email account.  Please check your Google @carlsbadusd.net email account to see if you have any overdue library books. Overdue notices are scheduled to run every Monday at 6:00 am.  If you have an overdue library book or an overdue class novel as of each Monday, you should receive an email notice reminding you to return or renew your books.  Please note that the notice is not going to your School Loop account, but to your school Google account.  Please try to return all overdue books before winter break.  Thank you.

We will be showing the movie Elf on Friday, Dec. 9th from 5:30-7:30pm for all 6th-grade students. This movie has a PG (parental guidance) rating.  For your 6th-grader to participate in this WEB activity, your written consent is required. Please have your student bring this form to the event. Students will not be admitted without this signed form.

The AOMS Fall "Bookaneer" Book Fair is coming November 14 through November 18.  Please plan on purchasing some great books and supporting AOMS Library too!  We are excited that Dr. Brockett has agreed to dress up as a pirate for a day after the fair (November 28) if we meet our goal of selling 900 books!  So, Get Hooked on a Book!  Come to the Book-a-neer Book Fair - Where Books Arrgh the Treasure!

We will again feature the Scholastic Online Book Fair in addition to the in-school fair.  The online fair dates are November 12 through December 2.  Books ordered online will be delivered to AOMS after December 2.  There are no shipping fees.  You will receive them before winter break.  Books make great holiday gifts.  Thank you in advance for supporting AOMS Library.

English classes will visit the book fair per the attached schedule.
