Enrollment vs Registration

Enrollment:  is for those students who did not attend a school in CUSD in 2015-2016.  Enrollment is necessary to be activated in the Carlsbad Unified district system before registration can occur.

Click Enrollment if the student is NOT currently attending a Carlsbad Unified School.

Please note, the office will accept Enrollment paperwork between 9:00 am - 1:00 pm and Thursday 9:00 am - 12:00pm

Registration:  On August  1, 2016, the CUSD Data Confirmation on-line window will open for all students enrolled in a CUSD school.  Registration is for students who have attended a Carlsbad School in 2015-2016 (Elementary or Middle School) or a newly enrolled student.  The dates to bring in your Registration paperwork for AOMS are:

6th grade: August 22, 2016

7th grade: August  23, 2016

8th grade: August 24, 2016

7th Grade Immunization Requirements

As part of the registration process all incoming 7th graders are required to show proof they have received their Tdap immunization.  If your child has already received this shot please submit proof to the health office as soon as possible.  Your child will not be able to register in August without having proof of the immunization.

Effective January 1, 2016, the State of California no longer recognizes Personal Beliefs Exemptions.  If you previously submitted a Personal Beliefs Exemption for the Tdap or ANY other immunization, IT IS NO LONGER VALID.  YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SHOW PROOF OF ANY MISSING IMMUNIZATIONS in order to register your 7th grader.

Please contact the health office at 760-331-6190 is you have any questions.
